  1. I have never crocheted before until I got some yarn and started watching this video step by step. I am actually crocheting! I am so excited! Thank you so much for your tutorials! Please make more :)

  2. What a terrific tutorial! You are sooooo good a demonstrating and teaching in a clear and easy to follow way! Am going to make one of these for my daughter ❤️

  3. The Red Heart hat that is in the lavender color is Red Heart Unforgettable yarn. Thanks so much for using our yarn in this tutorial!!

  4. Hi Melanie! 1) I just wanted to ask about adding a hair band at the top where the opening to the circle is. I've seen a couple of videos implementing hair bands for the circle opening. Do you think it would be possible with this pattern? 2) Also, is there a size chart for pre-teen girls? 3) when you measure the head, are you measuring around the forehead or at an angle? Sorry for all of the questions…i have someone who would like a hat for her daughter, so i wanted to see how the mother can measure her daughter's head, since I will not be around her. Thank you for your awesome video! : )

  5. Having trouble with right when you're starting off after you make the brim. Can you show the inside of the brim where it's being inserted? Also say there's ten rows on the wrong side. Would there be ten places where the yarn goes in? Or will it be 20? One on the row and one between each row?

  6. This was such a great easy pattern and quick to complete! All my friends are asking me for one now! Thank you for showing the various types of yarn!

  7. I'm a newbie. What have I done wrong if my beginning (after 2 rows of D.C.) if my stitches look bigger/ angling out? Added a stitch somewhere?

  8. I made this today!!! I've never crocheted a thing in my life other than practice stitches and I just started that last week!! Thanks for the great tutorial. Can't wait to browse the others you have and try them out too!

  9. Thanks for sharing your wonderful hat instructions. I like that you showed and explained how to do it with different yarn weights and that you used measurements and explained those too. So awesome!

  10. I posted one on Facebook and received orders like crazy! Unlike yours, I started from the top and went around a hair tie so it stretches and fits around a bun then did the ribbing on the bottom. This is great for anyone wanting to make them.
